HelloAI Student

For medical, nursing, pharmacy and allied-health students

You already use these tools. This module is about using them without quietly trading away the thing you came to learn. Six short courses take you from what a language model actually is, through study techniques that make you work harder rather than less, to using AI responsibly around patients, evidence, and your own name. One rule runs through all of it: AI is a scaffold, not a substitute.

What you'll be able to do

By the end of the module, you'll be able to:

  • Explain what a language model does when it answers you, and why it invents citations that look real.
  • Use AI to study harder, not less: active recall, spaced repetition, and simulated patients, each paired with the way it fails.
  • Protect the learning that has to stay yours, and test whether a study session taught you anything or only felt like it did.
  • Handle patient data, bias, and disclosure the way your regulator already expects.
  • Find the rules that actually apply to you, and write a personal AI-use charter you will keep.
